- Sydney 3 min 49 s, Bourke 4 min 5 s, Queenstown (NZ) 2 min 55 s.
- Sydney’s first since 26 Mar 1857 and last until 3 Jun 2858.
25 Nov 2030 — Southern Africa & Australia
- Max 3 min 44 s.
- Path: Namibia (incl. Windhoek), Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Australia.
- Good weather odds in the Karoo.
20 Mar 2034 — Africa to India
- Max 4 min 9 s.
- Path: Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Sudan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, China.
- Long, but the accessible stretches are patchy.

- Crosses Beijing and Pyongyang; passes just north of Tokyo.
